Velvet Deer Antler: Performance Breakthrough or Hype?

We have all seen Velvet Deer Antler in the news recently. Articles claim illegal performance enhancement and how professional sports should ban the substance. With all of this dust up I wanted to take a moment and investigate it's origins and relay my findings.
History:
From research, it has been used for years in ancient Asian medicine. As the story goes, the velvet that surrounds a newly budding deer antler is full of 1GF 1, insulin like growth factor 1. As deers grow their new antlers, this velvety covering naturally falls off. Once off of the deer, the velvet can be processed to extract the IGF 1 and other nutritional qualities.
This process and product has been used by Asian cultures for over ten thousand years to treat sexual dysfunction. Through current research the additional benefits of testosterone increases, nine growth factor increases, joint building through cartilage components and a full amino acid profile make it a very attractive supplement for athletes of all levels.
Today, it is humanely removed from deers one week before they would naturally discard it. Researchers have pin pointed this as the most potent time from the active ingredients contained. The process is completed in New Zealand which is the largest supplier of deer antler products to the world. It should also be noted that Asian countries such as China are still the leading importer of the substance.
Controversy Time Line:
June 2011 - Velvet Deer Antler came under fire when St. Louis Ram's linebacker, David Vobora sued SWATs laboratories after he claimed the batch they sold him contained banned substance methyl testosterone. Other professional sports were quick to ban the substance based on this allegation.
November 2012 - Nutronics Labs and SWATS Edge Performance sue the Major League Baseball Players Association for banning the substance as a steroid without testing it.
January 2013 - Ray Lewis denies use of Velvet Deer Antler to aid his injury recovery leading into the super bowl.
March 2013 - Vijay Singh sued the PGA for exposing him to "public humiliation" due to their probe into his deer antler use.
March 2013 - World Anti Doping Agency removes velvet deer antler from the "Banned List"
My Take:
I am a proponent of any natural substance that can help increase performance. Naysayers will claim that their is not any clinical proof of the benefits provided from velvet deer antler, but that can be said about many natural supplements that people swear by. When taking a hard look I cannot discard the fact that it is continuously used by millions of people throughout the world and it has been for years. I have also come across many athletes who swear by the effects including Russian Olympians. So I would say give it a shot.
Word of Caution:
All Velvet Deer Antler is not created equal. Potency is judged by nanograms. Products that are less than 10,000 nanograms OR do not have a nanogram rating are not worth purchasing.

Best Way For Improving Digestive Health

Almost everyone has heard of probiotics but less of us have heard of prebiotics. The media outlets are full of commercials that talk about supplements that boast the benefits of probiotics. Numerous articles and information can be found all over the web on the subjects of both probiotics and prebiotics. The question a lot of us are looking for after we wade through the numerous sources and pile of conflicting reports and articles, is what are they really and how do we get more of them in our diet so we too can benefit and improve our digestive health.
After looking all over the web and all the different medical websites and research journals that define prebiotics and probiotics, I was happy to find a very simple explanation online in a University of North Dakota Dinning Services fact sheet which claims they pulled their information from the Weight Watchers Research Department and the Weight Watchers website. I think this just shows that you can find well worded explanations of complicated sounding definitions all over the place through the power of the internet.
Here is what I found. "Prebiotics promote the growth and proliferation of beneficial bacteria in the digestive system. Probiotics have been defined as live microorganisms which when administered in adequate amounts confer a health benefit on the host. Unlike probiotics, which are live organisms, prebiotics are components of food that are not otherwise easily digested by humans and these food components essentially feed beneficial bacteria in your gut." - University of North Dakota Dinning Services.
The two schools of thought on how to go about getting the health benefits of a balanced seem to be to add probiotics to your body through diet, or to add prebiotics to your body through diet. Your colon contains trillions of bacteria but there are a limited number of bacteria that can actually survive the trip through your digestive system to get to your colon. Even knowing which ones can survive still leaves us trying to then determine which bacteria do we add and how much is too much. I think the simpler approach is to add prebiotics to your diet instead. Prebiotics are not living and are not digested so all the problems of getting them there are solved.
In addition, we know that prebiotics nourish the thousands of good bacterial species already living in the colon. We don't have to know which ones to select, but instead let nature take its course. By nourishing the good bacteria and increasing their growth, the good bacteria produce substances that lower the pH of their environment making it friendlier to good bacteria, but inhospitable to bad bacteria.
In conclusion, prebiotics seem the easier approach to finding balance needed for improving digestive health. If you want to learn more about the kind of supplements I use to increase the prebiotics in my diet, then please visit my website.

Is the Align Probiotic Good for Irritable Bowel Syndrome?

Finding a way to treat irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) without drugs is a high priority for many sufferers. The idea of using probiotics, beneficial bacteria, to treat the condition would be ideal. One of the most interesting probiotic supplements being marketed for IBS is the Align probiotic. How effective is this probiotic anyway? This article outlines the latest clinical research.
Irritable Bowel Syndrome
Irritable bowel syndrome is characterized by cramping, bloating and irregular bowel movements. Irritable bowel syndrome has several classifications based on the predominating symptom. Those with diarrhea have IBS-D; sufferers of constipation, IBS-C; and those with abdominal pain, IBS-A. The cause is unknown. However, brain-gut connections and/or changes in intestinal bacteria are likely important.
Drug treatment depends on the form of IBS. Options include anti-diarrheal drugs, laxatives, anti-spasmodics, antidepressants and neurotransmitter regulators.
Clinical Trials with the Align Probiotic
The Align probiotic supplement contains Bifantis, which is better known as Bifiobacterium infantis 35624. The department of Microbiology at the University College in Cork, Ireland isolated this strain from the human small intestine. Initial studies showing that it could survive the digestive tract and improve symptoms in models of colitis made it a candidate for further research.
An initial study in 2005 showed that daily supplementation with ten billion live bacteria for eight weeks could improve bloating, pain and bowel movements. However, this initial study was small with only 25 patients and, therefore, an additional study was done one year later. In this study, women with IBS were given either one million, 100 million or 10 billion bacteria for four weeks, and their improvements were compared with a placebo group. In this study, those with 100 million bacteria per day saw the best results with significant relief from abdominal pain, bloating, gas and irregular bowel movements. Even better, the patients felt like their symptoms were improving.
A final unpublished study found on the manufacturer's website revealed that dosage may be critical. No improvements were noted for IBS symptoms after probiotic treatment with one billion bacteria per day.
Conclusion
For those considering taking the Align probiotic, there's a chance it could help as there were good significant differences found in the published studies. Improved symptoms included bloating, pain and bowel movement problems. However in this study, as in most studies, response rates were not 100%, and this means that it might be ineffective for you. Moreover, the dosage appeared to be a sensitive factor. It could be that a little experimentation is necessary to find a suitable dosage. In this situation, it would be wise to consult a practitioner experienced in probiotics.

What Is a Pre-Workout Supplement and Which Are the Best Ones?

If you have been going to the gym, you'd have probably noticed that a lot of people appear to taking pre-workout supplements prior to beginning their sessions. Although there seems to be a general confusion about the consumption of sports supplements, the truth is that pre-workout supplements have been scientifically formulated and are safe to use.
Pre-workout supplements are designed to energize the body before working out and have been produced in accordance with scientific principles. They are formulated to help your body burn excess fat, improve muscle mass and fire up endurance.
Understanding the ingredients
There are numerous bodybuilding supplement products in the market. But the best pre-workout supplements typically contain common ingredients:
Caffeine: Caffeine is added to enhance concentration and also reduce exhaustion levels during workouts. Supplements contain a different form of caffeine compared to what you drink in your cup of coffee; it's in an anhydrous form (a dry form of caffeine) that is more effective in peaking focus levels.
Creatine: Creatine helps the body to store extra amounts of glycogen in its muscle cells. This results in improved muscle development and growth. Creatine is known to enhance muscular contraction (this means higher muscular flexibility during workouts) and strengthens the body's ability to power up oxygen supply to tired muscle cells.
Beta- Alanine: This is responsible for discouraging the production of lactic acid in the body and also boosts muscle endurance and repair. Lactic acid tends to lower the pH of the body and this eventually results in decreased capacity to exercise. A diminished ability to exercise implies that you are unable to access the peak levels of your workout and your muscles don't get the exercise that they should.
Amino acids: Amino acids act as the body's muscle builders and are responsible for tissue repair as well as toning up muscle strength. Amino acids (these are included in recommended doses in pre-workout supplements) are also great for revitalizing tired muscles and balancing nitrogen in the body after a strenuous workout.
Read on to get an idea of two of the best pre-workout supplements in the market:
Gold Standard 100% Whey: This power-packed pre-workout supplement is packed with goodness for fitness lovers and comes in several sizes ranging from 1 lb to 10 lb. There is a variety of delicious flavors like chocolate, strawberry and vanilla to choose from.
Each serving of 24 g provides you with a low fat, low cholesterol form of easily digestible whey protein.
MusclePharm Combat Powder: Highly recommended by fitness experts, the MusclePharm Combat Powder provides energizing whey protein in the form of isolates, hydrolyzed whey protein mixed with digestion enzymes for easy absorption.
Available in two sizes of 2 lb ($24.99) and 4 lb ($39.99), the product is available in a variety of appetizing flavors like banana cream and triple berry.

There Are Many Health Benefits That Could Be Gained From Taking Green Coffee Bean Extract

There has been a great deal in the press and online about the benefits of taking Green Coffee Bean extract. This article shares what these apparent benefits are, so you can decide if this is a supplement you would like to take to improve your own health.
The biggest benefit attributed to this extract is weight loss and the antioxidant properties it has. There have been published results from scientific studies which suggest this extract showed significant weight loss results in adults.
While using slimming tablets on their own to lose weight is not advisable or recommended, many people are finding that as part of a healthy and calorie controlled diet, they can help to boost their weight loss and help keep any weight gain from recurring.
The supplements are made using the beans in their natural state, they are not roasted which can destroy the valuable components within them. They have high levels of antioxidants and a substance called chlorogenic acid which is known for its ability to neutralize free radicals within the body.
The extract is also known for being excellent for stabilizing blood sugar levels in people, and for helping to regulate their metabolism. There are also some studies which suggest it can help with severe headaches and migraines.
The extract is increasingly popular all around the world, particularly in America and in Europe where millions of people are using it as an aid to weight loss. It should only be purchased from a reputable green coffee extract supplier to ensure high quality. The extract is available in pill form and there are also drinks which contain it. Pills are taken on a daily basis, following the manufacturers recommended dosage.
Many people are enjoying the drink and using it as an alternative to green tea which has been popular as an anti-oxidant drink for years. It is said to be a refreshing drink and preferable to coffee. For people who do not like the taste however, they can stick to the tablet form which is easy to take and still has the same good health effects that studies are indicating.
There don't seem to be any obvious health risks associated with taking this extract. However, as with all vitamins, mineral supplements and health foods, the advice is to only take the recommended dose, and to not exceed this amount. Improper use of the extracts is unadvisable as it could cause health problems. More studies are required about whether this extract should be used by pregnant women, or those diagnosed with long term illnesses.
If you are considering using Green Coffee Bean as a supplement or a drink, you should first consult your doctor, or a qualified nutritionist, who will be able to advise you based upon your own health and your needs.
There are some users who have complained use of the extract made them feel dizzy. There are also indications that for some, it can cause fatigue, headaches, diarrhea and even itchiness.
Get the right advice, and then only buy your supplements from a reputable source. You are more likely to get the right supplements for your needs and to have favourable results.

Important Reasons for Taking Fish Oil Supplements!

Fish oil has been one of the staples of nutritional supplements for a very long time. Many of us have childhood memories of being given a spoonful of cod liver oil or halibut oil before bed, sometimes stirred into hot milk. I certainly remember it, plus all the other vitamins and minerals that were nearly all we had in our medicine cabinet, alongside a few sticking plasters, cough syrup and antiseptic solution. Whether this was a pleasant memory or not depends on the individual some people liked the taste of plain cod liver oil, others preferred it mixed in with something else to disguise the fishy taste, and others couldn't stand it at all. But our mothers and grandmothers all agreed: cod liver oil and other fish oils were Good For You. As good for you as eating up your greens and going outside for some fresh air. And grandmother was right fish oil is very good for your health, and it hasn't stopped being good for you now that you're grown up and old enough to be a parent or grandparent yourself.
Research has borne out grandma's empirical observation that fish oil is beneficial to your health. This is because fish oil is a source of essential fatty acids, especially the Omega-3 fatty acids.
First of all, let's consider the essential fatty acids. In spite of the bad rap that fats and oils have got in recent decades and from some dieting gurus, the body does need some fats in the diet. But before you head off and down a bottle of cream with whoops of joy, it pays to remember that not all fats are created equal. Many of us already know this often our doctors have told us that "animal fats are to be avoided; vegetable fats are OK" or that "saturated fat is bad, unsaturated fat is good". But these simple rules of thumb disguise the complex nature of fats. For example, our doctors may have told us to avoid palm oil or coconut oil (even though it is vegetable oil) because it contains saturated fats. It does, but pure coconut oil does not raise your levels of "bad" LDL cholesterol but lowers them instead, while raising the levels of "good" HDL cholesterol. Fish oil is another exception to the rule - even though it is an animal fat (as opposed to a vegetable fat), it is one of the best oils that you can take.
The reason why fish oils are so good for you is because they contain Omega 3 essential fatty acids (in fact, they are the richest source of Omega-3 oils). Omega-3 fats have a strong link to improved cardiovascular health (they reduce the risk of heart disease/heart attack and strokes). Omega-3s are able to significantly reduce the amount of triglycerides in the blood. They also help with a number of other blood-related disorders, including varicose veins, high blood pressure, blood clots and poor circulation. Omega-3 supplements can also fight against certain forms of cancer. Some evidence even suggests that Omega-3s can help alleviate the symptoms of mental disorders such as depression, excessive aggression and ADHD (ah - so that's why our mothers made us take fish oil when we were small!), and maybe even more serious mental disorders like schizophrenia and bipolar disorder. Once again, grandma was right: fish is good for the brain (although research into whether consuming fish during pregnancy leads to a more intelligent baby is inconclusive).
Fish oil doesn't just contain Omega 3s. Fish oils are also a good source of Vitamin A and Vitamin D - in fact, they are about the only dietary source of Vitamin D (direct sunlight on bare, unprotected skin is the other source of Vitamin D).
As fish are living animals, vegans and vegetarians will not find that fish oils fit into their dietary preferences. A vegetarian substitute for fish oils that contain Omega 3s is either flax oil or hempseed oil. Some nuts, particularly walnuts, pecans and hazelnuts are also a good source of vegetarian Omega-3s.

Pre-Workout Supplements Are More Effective With Arginine Or Citrulline?

The supplementary industry is developing at a rapid pace these days. Each company is trying to outdo its competitors by coming up with more effective and strong pre-workout formulations. There are two famous compounds that companies utilize which are arginine and citrulline.
Arginine Pre-Workout
It is an amino acid considered by many experts as essential due to its properties. It may or may not be supplemented externally depending on your development and health status. For example pre-term infants lack the mechanism to produce it internally and as such require an exogenous source. This compound can be found naturally in many types of food we eat e.g. seafood, meat and in seeds and nuts. It can also be administered orally as a supplement. However, it has one great disadvantage; it is subject to systematic elimination from bacteria in the stomach and the arginase enzyme in the liver and gut. Therefore a small percentage is utilized by nitric oxide sythase enzyme to produce nitric oxide.
Citrulline Pre-Workout
This is where citrulline comes into play. Research has shown that oral administration of citrulline is able to bypass metabolism in the liver and gut therefore it is used as a way to provide arginine. New research has begun focusing on citrulline as a way of producing endogenous arginine due to its properties of bypassing metabolism in our digestive system. It is converted to arginine with the help of arginosuccinate synthetase and arginosuccinate lyase. This reaction however, requires our body's fuel in order to complete it. This is seen as one of the major setbacks of citrulline. However, it is still more effective than Arginine taken orally by itself.
Advantages of Citrulline Over Arginine
  1. A high dose of citrulline does not lead to any adverse symptoms however, that of arginine leads to an upset stomach - and potentially getting stuck in the washroom.
  2. At high doses it does not affect growth hormone levels or plasma insulin while arginine can affect these hormones and plasma insulin.
  3. Its pre-workout supplement in the form of citrulline malate has led to improved strength, reduced muscle soreness and aerobic performance.
There is no doubt that both arginine and citrulline are effective amino acids in their own ways. Enough said though, there is quite a lot of evidence favouring citrulline over arginine. However, research is still going on and better conclusions are yet to come. As at now we can safely conclude that citrulline is the better compound.

Coenzyme Q10: Review of Its Benefits

The body is composed of countless substances that work together to make its systems function properly. One of these substances is Coenzyme Q10 or CoQ10. The substance is needed by the mitochondria to produce energy that the systems in the body use, and insufficient levels of the substance in the body have health implications. While the substance is naturally found in every cell in the body, people develop deficiency of the substance because of certain factors, such as their age and medications they are taking. For this, supplementation of the substance may be needed, and this has various benefits.
Vital Organs
The vital organs, such as the heart, kidneys, and liver, are highly active. They are needed for very important processes that keep the systems in the body working properly. For this, they use up a lot of energy. And, when people have CoQ10 deficiency, the vital organs are greatly affected. As the vital organs are highly active, they are highly prone to oxidative damage. Scientific studies have proven that supplementation of the substance prevent oxidative damage to the heart, kidneys, and liver.
Energy
One of the common signs of deficiency of the substance is fatigue and overall weakness. This just perfectly makes sense because the substance is necessary for energy production. Moreover, the substance is especially important for those who tend to be exposed to prolonged stress. People who have very demanding daily activities consume a lot of energy, and the more stressed they are, the more amounts of the substance they use up. And, if they are not very careful, it can lead to serious health issues.
Other Benefits
Coenzyme Q10 or CoQ10 may also prevent or treat gingivitis, decrease the symptoms of Parkinson's disease, minimize skin aging, and improve sperm motility in men.

What Happened With African Mango: The Story Of Success In The End

You know a weight loss product has successfully broke into the mainstream when you notice it's being sold in Walmart!
But African Mango has definitely earned its way out of the West African rainforests - out to the even more dangerous and overcrowded jungle, teeming with big predators, that the diet supplement industry is!
African Mango is a wildly grown tall tree with elliptical dark green leaves and yellowish-white flower. All of its parts are useful, and used in some way or the other by the Cameroon tribesmen that have known about this tree and its practical value for centuries. When going on their long, exhausting hunts, they chew on the seeds to give them energy and eliminate hunger. African Mango is a diet staple there: the nut is usually ground to make a paste that is used for cooking; bark is used for the medicine.
The fruit eaten by natives in West Africa since times immemorial, or more precisely its seed, first got under the spotlight when some initial scientific studies concluded that enzymes found in the fruit's seed offer significant benefits in regulating fat metabolism and exhibit cholesterol lowering properties. While it lowers LDL or low density lipoproteins and triglycerides (the bad cholesterol) it simultaneously increases HDL (the good cholesterol).
Of course, the hunt for the newest weight loss miracle ingredient by the pharmaceutical companies, always on the lookout for the next exotic plant to exploit and market to the overweight masses, could now began. In a study done at the University of Yaounde on a small group of overweight people, the average weight loss was 12.3 lbs in only one month. This was certainly a sensation.
One well-known and much beloved TV personality have had featured African Mango in his hugely popular show, calling it not less but a weight loss miracle. I don't even have to describe that the mass marketing hysteria followed.
Because of its high dietary fiber African Mango works as a natural appetite suppressant. Fiber is also known to act as a bulk laxative, so it rids the body of the waste.
African mango has strong anti-inflammatory properties, so it might help in treating heart disease and cancers. And this is just scratching the surface when it comes to his potential health benefits!
In the end, I must mention that the authoritative medical website WebMD has recently included African Mango on its lists of resources.
Since the research on African Mango is still in its beginnings, it may be too early to say that the results are conclusive, but this modest fruits certainly shows promise, and it's prime time may be yet to come.
http://www.energizingtricks.com is focused on using African Mango as a supplement to not only help you lose weight, but at the same time fight fatigue and feel vibrant and energized.

Getting to Know Your Bodybuilding Supplements

Bodybuilders and other fitness fanatics just can't get enough of supplements, as far as researching the best one currently available in the market goes. These people claim to need supplements because for one, their fitness goals and how fast they are achieved depend on them and second, it is pretty advantageous as far as their nutrition plans go since it compensates for the lack of nutrients that is usually due to special dietary restrictions.
Yet, despite the fact that most products don't seem to show any harmful side effects on most bodybuilders, it is still recommended that people be wary and extra careful when buying them. Just because a product is being sold online and off is not a reassurance that it is completely safe. Of course, manufacturers won't intentionally harm you because it can greatly affect their reputation and profits, the regulatory measures that are currently in place are not quite up to par. In short, while the product is made by a company who doesn't wish to harm you, there is no back-up to confirm that you will not be harmed.
It is also due to this lack of research that people are warned to be careful when buying supplements because while it may seem that they have no known side-effects, there isn't enough research to back up any claims of efficacy made by the manufacturers. Also, it's another story when bodybuilding supplements are mixed with other medications one may be taking and possible adverse reactions to the product may manifest themselves as a result.
So how can you tell if a supplement is really safe or not? First is to do thorough research on the product itself and the ingredients that comprise it. Consult with qualified health experts on the pros and cons of the product and the possible side effects. In order for you to have a basis for your research, you need to ask yourself the following questions:
  • Will it work as well as it says on the label?
  • Are the ingredients printed on the label the same as what's inside the bottle?
  • How will these ingredients interact with those that are contained in my other medications?
Along with your scientific research, you can also use online testimonials and personal testimonials from people who've actually used the product. You can also check out online supplement review sites that list their choices from the best to the worst. You can also determine what you want out of your supplements and base your purchasing decisions on your age, any illnesses that you may have, whether or not you drink or smoke and your stress levels.
And lastly you also need to use your budget as a reference because buying the best usually means spending a little more than you are used to and if your preferred supplement costs you an arm and a leg, it may be something you can put off for another time. You may also want to check whether the ingredients or formulas were made based on current research and tested for superior quality using the latest methods.
Maximize your bodybuilding efforts with the best bodybuilding supplements. Check out the bodybuilding supplement at Nutritionwarehouse and be on your way to having a body that you want and most of all deserve.

The Real Importance of Considering the Exact Private Label Protein Today

To keep your body system healthy, it is important that you provide the exact nutrition. Lately, many people are becoming aware of the different nourishing substances and vitamins coming from private label supplements on the market.
Some individuals neglect to discover the exact nourishing substances that can really boost their wellness. Most of them believe that they add more weights if they fail to meet the exact amount of nutrient to consume daily. Moreover, they worry about spending extra money because high quality supplements are a little costly than ordinary supplements.
Lately, the majority of the people who are mindful about including protein on their daily dietary plan may involve many vegans, body builders and professional athletes. Many professional bodybuilders, dieters and athletes are performing tough exercises and they understand the necessity of consuming more proteins to complete their training and develop stronger muscles. However, these men and women are very disciplined in consuming the exact amount of protein because they know the risk of consuming more than the required amount.
It is also possible to get essential protein when you eat peanuts, legumes, fish, lean meat and healthy dairy products. Remember that protein is necessary in providing your muscles enough strength to help in accomplishing you routines effectively. If you lack essential protein or consumes too much of protein, you become vulnerable and very susceptible to muscle problems when performing exercises.
Remember that it is very important to get the right nutrient by means of keeping a healthy dieting plan. Again, you can get such nutrient if you invest for the best protein supplements with decent private label like what many dieters, athletes and bodybuilders are choosing today. These men and women know that exact necessity of consuming essential protein and they never invest their money for low quality supplements on the market. With the many possible choices today, they always consider evaluating the reputation of the manufacturer to guarantee them remarkable health benefits.
The entire body system usually reacts from the kind of nutritional supplement you consume. Like if you decide to take dietary supplements, you might see your body reacting instantly and can immediate feel changes on your physical strength after quick ingestion of the supplement. How Coenzyme Q10 or CoQ10 Works As an Energy Booster

In the highly stressful lifestyle that you are living, you can surely make use of an energy boost every day. Stress can just eat up your energy, and prolonged exposure to stress can lead to health problems. Thus, make sure that you make use of safe and healthy energy boosters. There is a wide range of safe supplements that can give you the energy you need to perform your daily tasks and activities, and one of them is Coenzyme Q10.
What you should understand first is that CoQ10 is a substance that naturally occurs in your body, specifically in the mitochondria of the cells. The mitochondria are considered the cells' powerhouses as they are responsible for the production of energy that the systems in your body need to function properly. The mitochondria need sufficient amounts of the substance in order for them to produce optimum energy levels. In fact, the substance's absence in energy production cannot be compensated by any other substance. Thus, if you have insufficient levels of the substance, your body is not able to produce energy at the optimal rate, and this has health implications.
When your body does not have energy as a result deficiency of the substance, your risk of developing diseases becomes higher. This is because the vital organs in the body, such as the heart, kidneys, and liver, require high amounts of energy for them to perform their functions properly. Also, deficiency of the substance increases the levels of free radicals in the body, which hastens the aging process of the systems in your body.
Moreover, the more exposed to stress you are, the higher amounts of CoQ10 are used up. This can lead to the deficiency of the substance, which, as abovementioned, results to health problems. Thus, if you are constantly exposed to stress, you can greatly benefit from taking the substance as a dietary supplement. The higher the levels of the substance you have, the more energy you have to burn.

9 Quick Muscle Building Tips And A Hunky Happy Ending

There are "it can wait" moments, and there are "I gotta have it now" times. It happens in bodybuilding, too. Quality is expensive. If you want to have it, sometimes it takes years, and sometimes it takes a lot of dough. Building quality size in muscle building is that. It means training, eating and supplementing wisely to get real muscle bulk.
There are times, though, when you need a quick fix. Women want to lose weight fast because an old flame is coming to town in two weeks. If the same happens to you, want to-be hunk, then you'll want to train fast and show her what she's been missing.
Quick- fix to the rescue. Here are 9 tricks to look 5-10 pounds bigger and impress your girl.
  • Load up carbs. The more you eat carbs, the more they get stored as glycogen in your muscles. These massive amounts of glucose molecules get attached to each other. This mass absorbs large amounts of water, and your muscles are going to fill up like (water) balloons.
  • Drink lots of water. Studies show that the best athletes are well- hydrated. If you're short on liquids, your muscles will look flat. So drink more water to make your muscles fuller and bigger.
  • The right creatine supplement. There's no question about it. Creatine pulls in water and increases muscle size fast. But choose the right kind of it. The really fast acting form of creatine is creatine mono-hydrochloride or Kre- Alkalyri.
  • Combine with glutamine. The supplement is not as fast acting as the carb load and creatine duo, but L-glutamine still is a critical ingredient to a jiffier muscle- stacking. And more glutamine. You may be taking L-glutamine before your workouts, but another form of glutamine helps your muscles look bigger through a different mechanism- L-alanyl L-glutamine. Take it 30 minutes before your work out.
  • Taurine for energy support. It's a popular amino acid that boosts muscle mass. As a highlighted ingredient in drinks like Red Bull, taurine provides long- lasting energy support.
  • Extra potassium pop. Sports drinks like Gatorade contain the electrolyte potassium for replenishment. The nutrient gets stored in the muscle cells, consequently volumizing it. At the same time, it increases water absorption.
  • Glycerol support. It provides a "backbone" for the primary fats in our diet, called tri- glyceride molecules. Glycerol supplement will do even more for your muscle building.
  • Yes to "NO" boosters. Nitric oxide boosters increase arginine levels in the body, then quickly converted to Nitric oxide. NO relaxes the blood vessels, resulting to better blood flow to the muscles, increasing their volume.
  • You can have it now, actually- the hunky body bulk that'll make you look oh-so-sexy. Work your way from there for the long- term and you can always have a macho- happy ending.
Look for the right bodybuilding supplements online, and it won't be much of a problem.
